Top 10 Reasons Why Transformers Are the Awesomest Product Ever

I saw Transformers last night and I thought to myself:

Wow, Transformers are F*cking Awesome!

As I sat in the the theater this list of 10 reasons popped into my head:

10. Alien Visitors

• Bad Aliens come to attack us, Good Aliens come to defend us. Unlike humans, they have a concept of cleaning up their own mess. Awesomeness.

9. Quantum Computing Robots

• They have quantum computing capability; operating with bio-info-nano convergent technology they are able to hack into systems in seconds that would take the world’s top supercomputers days or weeks.

8. Alien Robots

• Aliens AND Robots. Self-explanatory awesomeness.

7. Can physically attack and digitally (wirelessly) hack systems simultaneously and at ultra-high speeds

• They are amazing at multi-tasking and are capable of total multiple focus (unlike our slow human brains)

6. Can jam signals

• critical in creating the element of surprise, this disables the enemy’s ability to coordinate defenses

5. They have a Heads Up Display allowing an information overlay on their vision

• It is my belief that we will have wearable computers in the near future with a HUD, allowing us an information read out on any object in our vision (via internet connection)

4. They are Good and Bad; the Autobots and Decepticons want to save humans or do not care for their weakness respectively

• Yin and Yang

3. They Know everything that has ever been on the internet and they can remember it all with no delay

• I cant imagine instead of just having a bookmark, what life would be like if I could actually remember all the information on all of the pages I have viewed, Stumbled, Dugg, etc. in my 13 years of surfing the internet( I am 19)

2. They can scan and then assume the form of nearly any electric-powered device

• This goes back to the fundamental teaching we receive that we can be whatever we want when we grow up. Awesomeness.

1. They can TRANSFORM!– “More than meets the eye”

This is a great concept– the best technology (in my opinion) has a sleek, stylish exterior (vehicle mode) and then a rich feature set, advanced capabilities, and far-reaching potential (humanoid mode) that was not immediately apparent to the casual observer. E.g. Google’s ultra-simple home page, Apple’s product design since the iMac, the WordPress platform, etc… People love ‘transforming’ products with good form AND high function.

Thanks and go have a blast seeing the movie, I sure did.
